Update to Court Operations and COVID-19

Updated 09-11-2020

Administrative Order No. 2020-12

Per Administrative Order 2020-12,

  1.  The court will allow submission of Notice Of Appearances by electronic mail in addition to fax and regular mail.

  2.  The court will allow submission of pleadings paperwork by electronic mail.

Administrative Order No. 2020-7

Per Administrative Order 2020-05, 

  1. The court will suspend sending all fines and fees to collections for 60 days from the date of default.
  2. The court will waive all late fees.
  3. The court will continue to follow all state laws in regards to notification requirements to the Department of Licensing. 

Administrative Order 2020-5

Updated 4-13-2020.

Effective Monday, March 16th until further notice the Lake Forest Park City Hall and the Municipal Court lobby are closed to the public. 

From March 16th to May 4th, the court will reschedule all non-mandatory hearings and tentatively resume normal operations on May 4, 2020.  You will receive a new notice in the mail with the rescheduled date.  If you are scheduled for a court hearing and are ill or quarantined, your hearing can be continued.  

Court staff are available during regular business hours by phone, by email and chat service. 

If you have an outstanding warrant, please contact the Clerk’s Office.

To drop off a payment at City Hall, please use the Payment Drop box located on the south side of the building.  Please include your case number on all correspondence to ensure proper credit.
