Eagle Scout Park includes a tot-sized playground that features a play structure, slide, xylophone, and two spinner seats. The park is also fully fenced with two pedestrian gates. There is a bike rack, drinking fountain, and spiral concrete bench. Walk, bike, or drive to Eagle Scout Park and enjoy the park amenities (parking is available across the street at Pfingst Animal Acres Park). While the equipment is designed for ages 2-5 it can be used by all park visitors.
Eagle Scout Park was developed by a local Scout Troop 318 in the late 1970s, that installed pull-up bars and other outdoor exercise equipment. The park was redeveloped in 2017 to improve the use of the park space and update the park equipment. The playground is made with recycled materials and was partially funded by local grants from King County and the Washington State Department of Ecology.
