Concealed Pistol Licenses

COVID-19 Procedure

With City Hall closed to the public, the process to obtain your New Concealed Pistol License (CPL) is listed below.

Obtain your fingerprints through www.bellevuefingerprintingservice.com. Once you go to the site, set up your appointment.

Scroll down to "Choose a category..." and select "ATF (non-employment) & Concealed Carry Weapons Permit Fingerprinting". You will then be asked what agency you are being printed for. Select "CPL Fingerprints (Lake Forest Park PD Applicants)", pick the location (Bothell or Bellevue Office) and the your desired date/time. Proceed through the rest of the application. Bellevue Finger Printing Service will set up your appointment.

In the section that asks you for the tracking number just type N/A.

Please note: You will be responsible for the fingerprint fee Bellevue Fingerprinting service charges ($42.00).  This is not a fee Lake Forest Park pays.

Once you have your prints completed, turn in the application to LFP records for processing. The application is located here: CPL Application

Please do not date the application until you submit it to us for processing.

With the completed application (all 3 pages must be submitted to us) along with a copy of your WA State Driver’s license showing your Lake Forest Park address and a check made payable to: "City of Lake Forest Park" in the amount of $45.25 we will then process your application.

You can mail the application to:

Lake Forest Park Police Department - Attn: Records Dept - 17425 Ballinger Way NE, LFP WA 98155

Another option is dropping off the application (along with the fee) at City Hall. There is a payment box next to the voters box outside City Hall. Just make sure you put "PD Records" on the envelope

Please note: We cannot process the application if any of the documents are missing and not submitted to us.
