The Lake Forest Park Police Department is located on the second floor of City Hall at the intersection of Ballinger (SR 104) and Bothell Way (SR522) the northwest tip of Lake Washington.
Chief Dennis Peterson heads the Lake Forest Park Police Department. He has served as Chief of Police since 2000. In addition to the Police Chief, the department consists of a civilian police manager, 18 commissioned officers, two records clerks and a support services officer. Chief Peterson is a member of the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs (WASPC).

Lobby Hours
The Police are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Police Station offices are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Officers are on duty but the Police Station is closed on the following holidays: New Year‘s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Martin Luther King Day, President‘s Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
