After public hearings on Thursday, January 14, 2010, the City Council voted unanimously urging “voters to support the two levies and bond measure to ensure that Shoreline Public Schools can continue to offer high quality education to students…” and the King County Library System.
Superintendent Sue Walker presented information about the school proposals and Julie Brand presented information on the library proposition. Citizens expressed their support and concerns regarding these vital community assets.
In the regular meeting the City Council voted 7-0 in favor to urge citizens to support the proposals. For information on the library proposals go to www.kcls.org/infovote
