Since June 2007, state law prohibits children under the age of 13 from riding in the front seat of a car. It is the driver of the car who is responsible to see that an appropriate and approved child restraint is being properly used for each child.
Lake Forest Park Police Officers are providing courtesy notices at schools in our area. For more information about this law and safety restraints go the police website at www.cityoflfp.com/police.
It is really important that police and fire can find your home in an emergency.
Are your house numbers easy to read? Can they be seen in the dark?
City code requires that the numbers be at least 3 inches high and visible.
Don‘t guess about something this important.
Check your home at night to see if your residence can be found in an emergency.
Emergency Readiness packets were mailed on March 10 to our residents. The packets contain emergency preparedness information and Crime Watch vacation house check details. Lake Forest Park’s Crime Watch volunteers helped to prepare the packets for mailing. In addition, local students from King’s Junior High School and National Honor Society students from Kellogg Middle School assisted with organizing the packets for distribution.
