Dry Out Your Latex Paint Before Disposal
King County’s Local Hazardous Waste Management Program Facilities will NOT accept latex paint after January 1, 2008.
The following procedure describes how to properly discard your latex paint. To harden paint:
Mix latex paint with an equal amount of kitty litter or paint hardener
Stir in completely
Let the paint dry
Once dry, put the can in your garbage container with the lid off.
