Lake Forest Park Library Committee

The Lake Forest Park Library Committee is a liaison between the City and our local branch library. They are advocates for literacy and the use of the library. For the past three years they have sponsored the highly successful program called LFP Reads, modeled on other "one city, one book" reading projects. Last year residents read The Worst Hard Time by Timothy Egan.

The Library Committee is looking for volunteers to help with this committee. Volunteers help with the LFP Reads program by working on book selection, coordination with the bookstore and book clubs, programs and publicity. Committee members also work on other library projects, meeting quarterly during the year.
