In response to the extensive damage caused by last week’s flood, King County has authorized its Solid Waste Division to temporarily waive disposal fees at King County transfer stations for storm related, household debris. Lake Forest Park residents who have storm related household debris such as carpeting, drywall, furniture etc. can call Allied Waste and have a roll off container delivered to their homes. Allied Waste will charge customers only for the pick up and delivery charges to their home.
The containers must meet the criteria for storm related damage established by King County. The containers must be use for flood related, household debris only and the time frame for this collection is December 13-16, 2007.

Individuals can take storm related debris any King County transfer station December 13-16 and they will not be charged. The First NE transfer station is closed.
