Ivy Out events in Grace Cole Nature Park

The Stewardship Foundation is removing ivy from Grace Cole Park for the next several months.

The first Ivy Out work party will be on Sunday, May 20 between 9 am to noon. For the next several months, the workparty will be the second Sunday of the month. On June 10, July 8, August 12, September 9, October 14 and November 11, starting at 9 am, volunteers will be removing ivy and other invasive plants from the Grace Cole Nature Park.

Ivy Out is a major initiative region wide. Ivy is spread through seeds carried by birds and other animals and by an aggressive root system traveling under roads and driveways.
