On December 31, three of our long-serving councilmembers will retire. Carolyn Armanini, Mary Jane Goss and Nate Herzog have served the City of Lake Forest Park with humor, tenacity and vision.
On behalf of the City of Lake Forest Park, I want to extend my personal thanks, and the thanks of the citizens of our City, for their service.
Congratulations to our new and returning councilmembers. Elections are democracy in action. We are all served well when candidates debate the issues, state their positions in public and ask the voters to decide.
Thanks to all of the candidates who ran for office. We are all indebted to you. I look forward to the future in Lake Forest Park.
