King County is updating and redeveloping the two-mile long Burke-Gilman trail segment through Lake Forest Park from Northeast 145th Street to Logboom Park in Kenmore. The trail redevelopment includes new, safer updated trail features such as an improved trail surface, improved intersection and crossing treatments, drainage improvements, bridge and abutment replacement and new signage, fencing and bollards.

The northern segment from Ballinger Way Northeast to Logboom Park re-opened on Dec. 23 at noon. The southern segment from Northeast 145th Street to Ballinger Way Northeast is expected to remain closed until February 10, 2012. Documents from the weekly construction meeting and other information can be found below or by visiting King County's Burke Gilman Trail page.
