C. Stephen Sutton started as Chief of Police March 27, 2013. In addition to the Police Chief, the department consists of a civilian police administrator, 18 commissioned officers, two records clerks and a support services officer.

Location
The Lake Forest Park Police Department is located on the second floor of City Hall at the intersection of Ballinger (SR 104) and Bothell Way (SR522), on the northwest tip of Lake Washington.

Our Mission
Our mission is to consistently seek and find ways to affirmatively promote, preserve, and deliver those quality services which enhance the security and safety in our community. To support this mission, we will work in strong partnership with the community.

Our Goals
  • To identify and reduce drug related crime by impacting the supply and demand for illicit drugs
  • To insure Lake Forest Park Police Department works efficiently and effectively in providing a quality service to the community
  • To provide mandated non-crime related law enforcement services to our community
  • To reduce crime and collision loss in our community

Our vision is to develop and support a team of police professionals that are viewed as leaders, involved in a regional partnership of law enforcement that benefits the community.
