Responsibilities
The Lake Forest Park Municipal Court hears criminal misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor cases, traffic, and non-traffic infractions. Court is in session on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. Registered voters and licensed drivers living in the 98155 zip code area may be called as jurors. The Presiding Judge exercises general administrative supervision over the Court, the court staff and the probation officer. The Presiding Judge is appointed by the Mayor for a term of four years pursuant to RCW 3.50.040. The Court Administrator is appointed by the Judge and manages the daily operation of the court and supervises the court staff.
