DescriptionBlue Heron Park is a small (.50 acre) hidden gem at a busy intersection. Enjoy viewing the salmon in fall, winter or spring, watch for herons fishing for lunch. HistoryThe property was privately owned and commonly called "the stump farm" because former owners had cleared it and left the stumps standing. The park was purchased by the City of Lake Forest Park with Open Space bonds in 1989. Volunteer OpportunitiesWater quality measurements: Streamkeepers.
