The City of Lake Forest Park has upgraded its e-mail subscription service to make it easier for you to get updates on issues, news and topics of interest to you. Email is sent from GovDelivery.com, an email subscription management system designed for public sector clients like local, state and Federal governments.
For now, the City offers ten email lists:
LFP Legacy: Ensuring that our parks, trails, natural drainage, gathering places, and natural spaces are there for future generations.- City News: News releases and updates of general interest.
- Volunteer! Get Involved: How to get involved in city volunteer activities, commissions, local nonprofits, community service for high school students, and city park work days.
- Town Crier: Receive a link to the online version of the newsletter mailed to all city households monthly.
- Planning Department/ Comprehensive Plan: Updates on issues and legislation affecting the city's Comprehensive Plan, citywide zoning changes and land use action before the City Council.
- Community Policing: Communication from the Police Department to city residents.
- Jobs: New job openings at the city.
- City Council: City Council announcements, links to meeting agendas and minutes.
- Public Works/Engineering Bulletins: Updates on city infrastructure: roads, parks, drainage, and sanitary sewer systems. Engineering and capital improvement bulletins.
- Emergency Bulletins: Everyone who signs up for CityMail will be put on the emergency bulletin list as part of the city's emergency preparedness notification plan.
- All Lists: You also have the option to subscribe to all nine lists.

To subscribe, just click on the CityMail icon above. You'll also find it on front page of the City's website.
When you sign up you'll be asked for your subscription preferences. All email lists are completely confidential, and user requests for subscription or cancellation are instantaneous. If you choose password protection (and you don't need a password to subscribe) GovDelivery will help if you forget it or experience a problem with your subscription.
