About the Library Advisory CommitteeThe Lake Forest Park Library Advisory Committee serves as a liaison between the Lake Forest Park Library, the Lake Forest Park City Council, the Lake Forest Park Mayor, the community of Lake Forest Park, and the King County Library System. Join your neighbors and friends every summer to read the book everyone will be talking about! The annual Lake Forest Park Reads program culminates with special events and author appearances to make this a rewarding reading experience. Lake Forest Park Reads 2009: A Sudden Country
For the 5th year, Lake Forest Park Library Committee in conjunction with Friends of the Lake Forest Park Library, Third Place Books is sponsoring a community reads program. The book is available at the library and discounted 20% in June July and August at Third Place Books. Join the activities in July. Click here for more information. The Library will have copies of the print and audio books available for borrowers. Friends of the Library Friends of the Library raise money for programs and library needs, primarily with sales of used books. The sale is ongoing, check the book rack just outside the Library entrance. Friends also holds special sales, usually in conjunction with community events.
