To be eligible for Teen Court:
- You must admit the commission of the traffic infraction.
- You must be an enrolled student at Shorecrest, Shorewood, King’s or Shoreline Christian High School, or a resident of Lake Forest Park.
- You must be 16 or 17 years of age.
- You must never have had a traffic infraction referred to a youth or teen court.
- You must not have a conviction for a violation of any provision of RCW Title 46.
- You must not be under the jurisdiction of any court for a violation of RCW Title 46.
- You must agree to enter into a 6 month probationary period.
- You must pay a $30 transfer fee within three (3) days.
- You must agree to abide by the conditions set by the Shorecrest High School Teen Court.
To transfer your case, you have two options, a mail-in form requesting a transfer and hearing at Teen Court, or you can complete the electronic Teen Court form online. If you choose the online option, you will receive the Court's findings via email. Both options require payment of the $30.00 transfer fee within three (3) days.

Failure to pay as promised, or to comply with terms and conditions imposed by Teen Court, may result in suspension of your driving privileges, referral to a collection agency and addition of further penalties and/or fees.
