Council Members

The Council is made up of seven members. Each member serves at large for a four-year term. Terms are staggered so not all seats are up for election the same year. Non-partisan elections are held every two years.

The Lake Forest Park City Council enacts ordinances, approves the budget, sets policy, confirms appointments and grants franchises. Regularly scheduled meetings of the Council are held on the second and fourth Thursday of the month. Minutes of past meetings are available online:
